STUDIO CREDITS ROLL. CAMERA MOVES DOWN THE MAIN AISLE AT A WEDDING. THE CHURCH IS BEAUTIFULLY DECORATED, ALMOST LIKE A DREAM. WE HEAR A HARP. CAMERA TURNS TO SHOW JAMES AND TRACY, STRIKING IN THEIR WEDDING DRESS AND TUX, AT THE ALTER, WITH A PRIEST. PRIEST At this time, James would like to say a few words. JAMES (looking at Tracy with obvious love) Tracey LeeAnne, you make me complete. You make me stronger. Before today, I could only dream what paradise could... MRS. KOENIG (suddenly standing) Blah, blah, blah. You braying ass. TRACY (shocked) Mother? MRS. KOENIG (walking down the aisle towards them) This cannot happen, darling. Not with... (takes Tracy by the arm while looking at James with disgust) ...this..this... MINISTER (helpfully) Braying ass? JAMES Hold on there, Mrs. K... (reaches to stop her) MRS. KOENIG PULLS OUT THE SILVER WEDDING CAKE KNIFE. CUT TO JAMES' FACE, SURPRISED. HE HEARS A "WHOOSHING" SOUND, THEN A THUMP. JAMES LOOKS DOWN, SEES HIS SEVERED HAND, STILL IN ITS TUXEDO CUFF, STILL HOLDING THE WEDDING RING IN ITS FINGERS. JAMES LOOKS IN HORROR AS HIS STUMP SPRAYS BLOOD RIDICULOUSLY UPWARDS. MRS. KOENIG (with hate) You are a waste of flesh with no future. You will never have my daughter! JAMES, STUMP STILL SPRAYING, LOOKS UP TO SEE TRACY BEING PULLED BACK UP THE AISLE, AWAY FROM HIM. SHE LOOKS DESPERATELY BACK AT HIM, CALLS HIS NAME, THEN DISAPPEARS IN THE EXTREME GLOW OF DAYLIGHT. WE THEN SEE THE GLOW OF DAYLIGHT ON JAMES' FACE. HE IS IN BED AND IS NOW WAKING UP. HE IS OBVIOUSLY BOTHERED BY THE DREAM. HE LOOKS AT HIS HAND. JAMES (to hand) This day all ready sucks! DURING CREDIT SEQUENCE, WE SEE THE FOLLOWING: CUT TO: James in his simple but perfect bathroom. He does a few moves with mousse, making his hair look stylish and great. He smiles at picture of Tracy on bathroom mirror. CUT TO: James in kitchen. Shelves are open and cans, plates, etc, are stacked beautifully and color-coordinated. He opens fridge, pours juice, and when fridge door closes, we see another picture of Tracy on fridge with magnet. Next to that photo are two other pictures. One is of James and Adam, arm in arm, at age ten. Overlapping a corner is another photo of James and Adam today. It's signed, "Love ya, Bro' - Adam."
