VERSIONS OF LUST & DISGUST: SYNOPSIS

Versions of Lust & Disgust is the love story between TOM and CANDICE, and the life story of a cross-section of humanity. The classic story of "boy meets girl" is thrust into a present-day reality. Their chance meeting in a grocery store starts their trek through love and self-discovery. Through marriage, the birth of a child, daily monotonies and joys, their romance begins to show the cracks from life's potholes. They face hard truths and surprising revelations about themselves and their love.

Throughout their story, wide spectrums of people are experiencing critical junctures in their lives. A hooker revels in the power of her sexuality. A gay man, ravaged by HIV, spews self-loathing. A lipstick lesbian sick of labels; a drunk's challenge to monogamy; a stalker's lament; a widow's graveside chat; a wealthy homemaker's denial of domestic abuse, are but several of the many characters punctuating the bittersweet story of TOM and CANDICE.
